Smt. S.C. & Sheth D.M. Sarvajanik Hospital was founded in 1960 as Maternity Hospital known as Smt. S.C. & Sheth D.M. Lying in hospital with the capacity of 32 beds and for 40 days stay in the hospital.
Due to migration of families of Mahesana and its surrounding villages to Bombay and other part of country, number of patients went on decreasing year by year.
